Global Charity Gains Local Support

ABPmer’s team, which will be taking part in the Deloitte and Sailor’s Society Charity Cycle on Sunday 10th May have been greatly impressed with the support they have been offered by local businesses, in addition to that pledged by their families and friends. Joining early sponsors A&A Business Supplies and Kuti’s Royal Thai Pier the team is pleased to also welcome Southampton businesses the De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel, La Margherita restaurant and Marks & Spencer to their list of corporate sponsors.

Nick Kitson, who will be taking part with colleagues Alison Houghton, Colin Scott and Chris Jackson said, “Having all agreed to undertake this 45 mile cycling challenge to raise funds for the Sailor’s Society, I think we are now pleased that all of us have a bike with which to take part, which was not the case a week ago! We are extremely grateful for the support shown to us by our local business neighbours in Southampton, who have stepped up in a time of economic difficulty to support this worthy cause. We thank them for their faith in us.”

The team’s ‘Just Giving’ web page is still live, where sponsorship pledges and donations may continue to be made online. Please visit:  www.justgiving.com/abpmer_getontheirbikes to offer your support.
